“Amy Rose Squad Meeting”

There will be a meeting in the early part of the season, usually towards the end of April.  Details will be advised as soon as available.

Please come along have a bowl, a chat, a short match and catch up with the rest of the squad or just raid the sweetie pot.
We should have some new faces – so please welcome them into the squad.  Come with any idea’s or thoughts you have, the only silly idea is the one that you do not tell me.

Matches in 2018

Details to be posted in the next couple of months.

We are hoping to arrange some Coaching Sessions, so if you have a particular point you want
coaching on or advice, please ask and I will arrange for someone to help you.

Questions answered...

What is the Amy Rose Squad ?

It is the Junior County Team and we play friendlies against other counties/clubs and in the National Inter County competition at Leamington in September.

Can I be part of it?

If you are a young lady bowler and 31 or under on 01/04/2016 then you can be part of the Amy Rose Squad.

What can I get from it?

You can get a lots from it...

  • Playing bowls with people of a similar age and make new friends
  • Coaching and help with your game
  • Be part of the future of Bowls within Leicestershire...

But I have only been playing for a short time

Don’t be afraid we have people from a wide range of abilities.

I won't be good enough

We will make you feel most welcome and you can learn with us.  You are probably better than you think you are.

What do I do next?

Get in touch with me, Martin Shipley – see top of page for details.

Please remember that is you have not purchased your hoodie then you have a duty
of care to look after it as it must be returned when no longer required or fits you.
If you wish to purchase your hoodie then please pay Martin £25.
If you are playing for your club why not wear it then as people may ask you who the
“The Leicestershire foxes” are and you can explain about us.
