Raising funds for the Benevolent Fund

Bowls Loughborough men’s league hosted a match against the Bowls Leicestershire Men’s President team at the Loughborough Phoenix Bowls Club. The match was arranged to raise funds for the Bowls Leicestershire Benevolent Fund which provides support for bowlers and their spouse each year. The match raised a total of £251 from a raffle and donations which was presented to the County President by Terry Whiteside, Chairman of Bowls Loughborough.

The match was played in good spirit, the County team winning overall 125-97.

NWLDC to re-open Scotlands Bowls Club

Equipment Needed in Order to Open, please help with donations if possible

Discussions are currently taking place regarding the re-opening of the Scotlands Bowling Club in Coalville from the start of the 2021 season.
They are looking for the following equipment, so if you have any surplus (of any standard), it will greatly assist - please contact Steve Bacon on 07870 327568.
